Two postdoctoral fellowship positions are available in the laboratory of Vivian G. Cheung at the University of Pennsylvania, Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The focus of the laboratory is human genetics and genomics.
The projects involve studying 1) genetics of human gene expression of cells at baseline and in response to therapeutic agents, and 2) the genetic basis of disease risks in carriers of autosomal recessive disorders such as ataxia telangiectasia.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in human genetics, molecular or computational biology. Successful candidates will have background in gene mapping, statistical genetics/bioinformatics and gene expression analyses.
Please send CV, a statement of research goals and names of three references to Dr. Cheung. Contact information can be found here.
